Code of Conduct
Building a respectful and inclusive community together
Commerscury is dedicated to providing an inviting and positive community for everyone. The following Code of Conduct explains our expected behavior for participating individuals as well as the actions we take to address any unacceptable behavior.
1. Our Pledge
We have an absolute commitment to ensure that all of us have a harassment-free experience participating in our community, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
2. Our Standards
Things you could do to help develop a positive environment include: using welcoming and inclusive language, respecting differing viewpoints, receiving constructive feedback graciously, being concerned for the interests of your community, and being compassionate with others in the community.
3. Unacceptable Behavior
It covers a host of unacceptable conduct from harassment, trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks to public or private harassment, publishing others' private information without their permission, and a host of behaviors that might reasonably be viewed as inappropriate in professional settings.
4. Content Guidelines
Content should be relevant, constructive, and respectful. Posts should be intended to help others, share knowledge, or ask genuine questions. It is not okay to spam, post promotional content, or discuss off-topic subjects.
5. Moderation
Community moderators are permitted and have the right and duty to delete, edit, or refuse comments, posts, and contributions not in accordance with this Code of Conduct, or to temporarily or permanently ban any contributor for behaviors they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
6. Reporting Issues
If you witness or experience unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it by contacting our moderation team. All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
7. Consequences
Those in our community who are asked to stop any inappropriate behavior must do so immediately. Members of the community may receive any temporary ban or permanent expulsion from the community when a member engages in unacceptable behavior.
8. Scope
This Code of Conduct applies in all community spaces, and also when someone is acting on behalf of, or acting in a capacity within, the community in public spaces.
