Code of Conduct

Building a respectful and inclusive community together

DevStack is committed to providing a welcoming and inspiring community for all. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

1. Our Pledge

We pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

2. Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include: using welcoming and inclusive language, being respectful of differing viewpoints, gracefully accepting constructive criticism, focusing on what is best for the community, and showing empathy towards other community members.

3. Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include: harassment, trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, personal or political attacks, public or private harassment, publishing others' private information without permission, and other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

4. Content Guidelines

All content must be relevant, constructive, and respectful. Posts should aim to help others, share knowledge, or ask genuine questions. Spam, promotional content, and off-topic discussions are not allowed.

5. Moderation

Community moderators have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, posts, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct, or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

6. Reporting Issues

If you witness or experience unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it by contacting our moderation team. All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

7. Consequences

Community members asked to stop any inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a community member engages in unacceptable behavior, moderators may take any action they deem appropriate, including a temporary ban or permanent expulsion from the community.

8. Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, and also applies when an individual is representing the community in public spaces.
